Board Tracking - What?s it all about?

BUFO Surfboards are custom-made and every board gets its own serial number. Through this all data of the board such as date of production, shaper, size, volumes etc. is available right away. If a BUFO is resold, the board?s history can be traced with the serial number.

Very important: Stolen boards can be reported to BUFO and are saved in a special data base. This puts a stop to thieves and shops who try to sell stolen boards. Every buyer of a used board from private or shop should always reassure himself that it is not stolen by using the board tracking function.

The serial number can be found on the back of the bottom side of the board and of course in your personal BUFO account on BUFO.com, if the board was purchased online. If purchased in a shop, you should join the BUFO online community and endorse the serial number in your online quiver. This way you have the seriel number handy should your board be stolen
