The rocker is characterized by the bottom curvature of the board. The formular

flat rocker = fast board
more rocker = easy turning board

is valid. But BUFO Boards come with an Dynamic Rocker™, that varies from situation to situation and always takes care of the necessary curve.

In turns the board flexes, the bottom curve accelerates in defined sections.  The dynamic rocker™ reacts on request: The harder the turn, the more rocker. The board is much easier to maneuver, much faster in turns and better to control in the pocket.

When floating, the rocker is flat. The bottom side shows minimal resistance to the water surface and accelerates better.

The dynamic rocker™ is key on shortboards but longboards also. Being in a speed stance on a shortboard or noseriding on a longboard results in a flat rocker and good acceleration. A stance more to the back of the board makes the rocker stronger and easy turns possible.
